While organizing the girls' bedrooms, I came across Ellie's keepsake box. Being the easily distracted person that I am, I opened it up and looked inside. To my surprise I found a section of the local newspaper from the day Ellie was born, October 23, 2013. On the front? An article about two little girls battling Leukemia. We haven't met Callie or Lauren, but I have met Lauren's mother. Hopefully one day Ellie can meet these little girls that fought before her.
